Shipwreck Bay Chardonnay 2008

This wine is a blend of Gisborne and Northland fruit. Flavours of white peach and honey dew melon ending with a crisp, refreshing citrus finish. The partial malolactic portion gives this wine nice balance and weight.

Aroma

A delicate aroma of Pawpaw,passionfruit and peaches. Hints of Orange blossom citrus and limes with a lingering creaminess.

Palate

A smooth rich entry, followed by peaches and cream,this is balanced by a gingery spicy finish enticing you for more.

Food Match

Crisp roast chicken with mixed herb stuffing or Pan fried snapper with a touch of lime.
