Shipwreck Bay Sav Blanc 2008
A classically structured Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. It is Crisp and dry, with excellent palate weight and a persistent finish.
Aroma
Tropical fruit; Rockmelon, passionfruit and limes prevail, rounded off by soft spice and hints of asparagus.
Palate
A medium body wine; citrus, limes and grapefruit are balanced by sweet Rockmelon and a Zesty clean finish.
Food Match
Snapper ceviche with tequila, lime and roasted bell peppers.
Or fresh scallops fried in butter.
