Okahu Sauvignon Blanc 2006

After lengthy cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks and 15% in oak barrels, there is retention of fruit that is tropical and balanced.

Aroma

Fresh crisp aromatics of gooseberries, capsicum and honey dew melon blend with nuances of passion fruit.

Palate

Tropical notes of passion and pineapple are brought together with gooseberry and zesty citrus for a crisp yet balanced palate with delicate oak influence for overall weight and structure. This wine has a lingering fruit sweetness that leads you back to the tropical entry.

Food Match

Great with almost any seafood, pork or chicken dishes. Try this wine with Thai or Chinese food too.
