Okahu Pinotage 2008

Grown on the Kauri Sands Terroir of Okahu Estate. This Pinotage shows intense fruit expression of berry fruits and is well balanced with extension of tannins from the barrel ageing process.

Aroma

A intense burst of Raspberry, Blackberry, Strawberry and cherries enveloped with tobacco

Palate

A soft fruit hit of Wildberries and Cherries, gives way to rich ripe round tannins, which complement the fruit and give a nice extended finish

Food Match

Braised lamb Shanks with a medley of roasted parsnips, pumpkin, kumara and Maori Potatoes.
