Okahu Chardonnay 2007
Fresh clean fruit characters from part stainless steel fermentation integrate well with the barrel fermentation and malolactic lees stirring, producing a well balanced chardonnay.
Aroma
A fresh floral fruit burst of White peach, nectarine and Citrus, followed by Creamy vanilla, butterscotch and mealy oak.
Palate
A sweet buttery,creamy entry is balanced by the fruit flavours of Peach, nectarine and Grapefruit. After the fruit burst the complex flavour of almonds, ginger and spice leave the mouth tingling.
Food Match
Chili chicken Salad, tautau fritters or seared scallops. or try with a mild Tai Curry.
