The strength and depth of fruit character is balanced with spicy nuances from 12 months maturation in new and seasoned French and American Oak
Aroma
An earthy aroma surrounds this wine; Plums, Prunes and Bramble mingle with a Rich oak structure and spice.
Palate
Dark berries and plums are followed by red liquorice and spice, complemented by fine oak and fruit tannins, with a lingering memory of dark spicy characters.
Food Match
Red meats and game are a natural choice. But the adventurous might like to try matching this weighty yet soft wine with spicy foods, Moroccan or Mediterranean dishes.
