Okahu Chardonnay-Viognier 2007
This wine made from Northland grapes is the result of the Estate Chardonnay mixed with the first small crop of Viognier. This wine entices you with aromatics of honey, cream caramel and lifted floral notes. A nicely balanced wine unhindered by oak.
Aroma
Enticing aromatics of cream caramel, honey, lime and lifted spicy citrus floral notes.
Palate
Clean and fresh with hints of Nectarine, orange blossom and mandarin. It finishes clean and crisp, with mineral notes and zesty lime.
Food Match
Thai style green curry soup with seafood and noodles, or pan fried snapper with a crisp green salad.
